Hi, I'm Szymon.
I love to cook together with my fiancee, but the recipes we found were saved all over the place. Some screenshots, some links in my notes app, some recipes saved on Instagram. Probably you also had the same thing happen: you see something delicious on Instagram, save it there, but never come back to it. That's why I build MainCourse: a place where all recipes can be saved to.
MainCourse is not a startup, it's just me on evenings and weekends, developing small updates. That means it's a bit rough in places. But it also means you can email me about anything and I will think about it.

Is MainCourse free? +
Yes. Saving recipes from URLs, social media, and photos, plus meal planning and shopping lists, are all free to use.
Which platforms does MainCourse support? +
It's a native iOS app for iPhone and iPad, syncing across your Apple devices with iCloud. No Android yet — it's just me, and I'd rather do one platform properly.
Does it work offline? +
Yes. Once a recipe is saved it lives on your device, so you can cook from it with no internet connection.
How does social media import work? +
Share an Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Pinterest link to MainCourse. The app transcribes the video audio, reads on-screen captions, and assembles a structured recipe with ingredients and steps.
Who is behind this? +
One person — me, Szymon. If you email support, I'm the one reading it. Feature requests genuinely do end up in the app.
